We have just launched OpenReplay Spot, our new Chrome extension that makes bug reporting blazingly fast and simple.
With Spot, you can record bugs directly from your browser — each recording includes all the technical details needed to fix them: console logs, errors, network payloads, user agent data, and activity.
Getting started with Spot is fast:
- Add the Spot extension to your Chrome browser.
- Create an account if you don’t have one on OpenReplay.
- Pin Spot and click on its icon to start recording bugs.
- Share the link with your team to collaborate on fixes.
Spot makes bug reporting faster than ever for everyone involved.
It allows team members, like Product Managers and QA testers, to provide developers with all the context they need to resolve issues without lengthy explanations or having to reproduce them.
Spot recordings can be shared via private links for internal viewing or public links for external viewing.
These links can also be included in bug tracking or collaboration tools like Slack, Teams, Jira, or Linear.
Watch this video to see how Spot works.
We can’t wait for you to start using Spot and we’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback.
Happy bug reporting!
